We're Back!

Welcome back…ish, LSS. We’ve missed you! While school days are looking a little different than we’re used to, we’re here and we are so happy to see real, honest-to-goodness students.

If you’ve been in the building already, you might already know that the library doors aren’t open like they usually are. For safety reasons, we won’t be welcoming students to browse the stacks and sign out library books, but this is just for now.

This time of year, we generally start focusing on getting library books back from students, anyways. Which leads me to my next point :

If/when you come to LSS, please bring back any library books you have and consider bringing any textbooks you no longer need to complete your coursework.

Library books and textbooks should be returned directly to the library (not your teachers) in the after-hours book drop slot in the door. Library books and textbooks can also be returned to the office, if need be.

At some point in the next little while, I will be emailing out those dreaded over-due notice emails, but please know these are more of a gentle reminder of what books you have signed out to you, and encouragement to bring them back the next time you are in the building. We know this is an unusual way to end our school year, and will happily welcome library books and textbooks whenever they make their way back to us.

Graduates - help us out! Since we won’t be seeing you again in the fall and sadly unable to bug you in person about your overdue books - please, please, please make every effort to return all of your LSS library books and textbooks before you leave us!
